A Supportive, Client-Paced Approach to Therapy
I specialize in working with clients experiencing diverse mental health conditions — providing a client-paced, supportive, compassionate, and therapeutic approach. I see clients ages 21 and older. All sessions are telehealth only, via secure Zoom.
Individual Therapy
A space that's entirely yours — to process, grow, and feel lighter.
In individual therapy, we work together at your pace . My style is interactive — we'll talk openly, examine the patterns that are getting in your way, and build practical skills to replace them with positive, life-enriching ones.
We work together to understand how your behaviors affect your interactions with family, work, friends, and intimate relationships.
The goal is not just symptom relief — it's lasting change and improved well-being.
A few of the conditions I work with:
Anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorder
Low self-esteem and negative self-beliefs
Dissociation and feeling disconnected from yourself
Trauma and PTSD / Complex PTSD
Depression
Relationship patterns
Life transitions — new jobs, relationships, loss, identity
Sessions are 45 minutes via secure Zoom.
Between sessions, homework may be given to help reinforce the skills we cover always at a pace that feels manageable for you.
If this resonates with you, consider setting up a free consultation. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Couples Therapy
There are solutions that can repair and strengthen your relationship. Let's examine these patterns together.
Couples Therapy, we work together at your pace .
Here are some signs couples therapy could help:
You don't feel heard by your partner
You are unable to have healthy communication — there is yelling, hurtful comments, and you don't know how to change things
Arguments result in days or weeks of not talking to each others
You're fighting more than you get along — and your children may be absorbing it, showing signs of anxiety, depression, or anger
There are trust issues or a sense of control in the relationship
There is a history of childhood trauma or attachment issues affecting the relationship
Feeling frightened, unsafe, or having difficulty getting close
Here's what working together could look like: We'll work to develop and increase self-capacity, emotional regulation, and resolution of couple distress. I bring in the Gottman Method and Developmental Couples Therapy for Complex Trauma (DCTCT), among other skills, into couples therapy — strengthening couple relationships through evidence-based, skills-based psychoeducation.

EMDR Therapy
What Is EMDR Therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based intervention — meaning it has been researched, studied, and proven effective for distressing experiences.
Some of the areas EMDR can help with:
Attachment issues
Dissociation
PTSD and Complex PTSD
Panic and anxiety disorder
Depression
Grief
OCD
Phobias
Self-esteem
Social anxiety
Chronic pain
How Does EMDR Work?
EMDR follows a structured Eight-Phase Protocol that takes the client gently through working on distressful present or past memories and experiences. It uses bilateral stimulation (BLS) — in the form of hand tapping, eye movement, or hearing selected sounds — while the client focuses on the distressing memory.
The BLS activates the brain's relaxation response, which reduces the memory's emotional charge — making it manageable to revisit and reprocess.
This process integrates the distressing memory so it no longer feels overwhelming, and the experience becomes associated with a more accurate, positive belief rather than the negative belief that was limiting you.
This is not hypnosis. Everything comes from inside of you, by you — to finally release the negative impact it has had on you all this time.
If this resonates with you, consider setting up a consultation. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have on how EMDR may be helpful to you.
Trauma Therapy
What Is Trauma?
The emotional response to an event or series of events, affecting an individual's ability to integrate overwhelming experiences resulting from a threat to life, bodily integrity, or the ability to cope.
Symptoms caused by trauma:
Feeling stuck in the present or past from deeply distressing experiences
Struggling with feelings of panic or anxiety & repeated nightmares or difficulty sleeping
Intrusive childhood memories that plague you today — or little to no memory of your childhood
Unhealthy behaviors or addictive patterns to mask emotional pain, interfering with quality of life
Difficulty regulating emotions, causing problems with family, friends, or at work
Low self-esteem, avoidance, sadness, anger, fear, social withdrawal, changes in habits
Sometimes feeling disconnected from yourself or others — like you're always running away
Past memories that feel so real you feel you are reliving them in the present moment
Feeling like you're in a fog or trance-like daze at times — like you lose time in the present
These situations can be overwhelming and confusing. Having a plan to work on these symptoms may help you manage, reduce, or even eliminate them over time — and finally feel some relief. There are steps you can take to help you regain more control of your life. EMDR may also help you reprocess your trauma.
